Join us for K-Story Hunters, an interactive sound reading theatre that invites audiences to discover Korean stories through the beauty, rhythm, and resonance of the Korean language.
K-Story Hunters brings Korean to the stage as a living cultural heritage, expressed through voice, music, and movement. Like all languages, Korean was spoken, heard, and sung long before it was written down.
The performance begins with the world of Korean mythology, which has received renewed international attention alongside the global success of KPop Demon Hunters. It then takes audiences on a journey through Goryeo-era songs, folk music, children’s poetry, modern poetry, and contemporary fiction, bringing Korea’s rich oral and literary traditions together on one stage.
In K-Story Hunters, there is no fixed boundary between the stage and the audience. Audience members will not simply watch the performance; they will be invited to read aloud, sing, and take part in creating it. As…
